Southwest of Dothan, the town of Taylor spreads out along AL-53 with acreage homes, old farmsteads and a lot of gravel. We deliver roll-off containers throughout Taylor and the county roads that feed it.

Taylor is a small incorporated town that never lost its country character even as Dothan grew toward it. You will find newer brick homes sitting on three and five acre tracts a quarter mile from a working farmstead that has been in the same family for generations. That combination shapes the work. Newer households generate remodel and landscaping debris; the older properties generate barn cleanouts, scrap metal, rotten decking and decades of stored equipment. Almost everything sits at the end of a long private drive, frequently gravel or packed red clay, so our drivers plan the approach carefully and back in rather than trying to turn around in a soft yard.
Barn and equipment shed cleanouts are the signature Taylor job. Families clearing an inherited place fill a can with old feed sacks, broken implements, tin, lumber and furniture that has been in a loft since the seventies. We also do a fair amount of mobile-home removal debris, deck and porch tear-offs, and storm cleanup when a line of thunderstorms takes down pines across the fence rows. Landscapers working the bigger yards out here book us for sod, stump and brush loads, and those we keep to a smaller can because vegetation and dirt get heavy fast.

From the yard we cut across to Fortner Street and run southwest onto AL-53, which carries us straight down into Taylor. Once we are in town, deliveries branch off onto Taylor Road and the numbered county roads that lace the farmland. It is an easy, mostly flat run with good shoulders. After heavy rain we may ask about the last hundred feet of a dirt drive, because a loaded roll-off truck is unforgiving in soft clay.

Usually yes. We need roughly eleven feet of width, clearance overhead for limbs, and firm enough ground that a loaded truck will not sink. Plenty of Taylor drives are a quarter mile of packed clay and we handle them fine when they are dry. After a stretch of rain we may stage the container closer to the county road and let you haul debris out to it.
Barn cleanouts fool people. The volume looks manageable until you start pulling out old lumber and tin, and then it doubles. For a single-bay shed we suggest a 20-yard. For a full pole barn or an equipment shelter that has been collecting things for thirty years, go to the 30-yard so you are not paying for a second trip on the same weekend.
There is, and it matters out here where people clear old slabs and fence posts. Heavy material like soil, brick, block and concrete should go in a 10-yard container rather than a big one, because a 30-yard full of clay is far past what a truck can legally carry off. Tell us what the load is when you book and we will match the can to it.
We schedule Saturday pickups in the Taylor area regularly, since most folks do their big cleanout work on the weekend and want the can gone Monday. Let us know when you book that you are aiming for a weekend haul-off and we will slot it. If you finish early, call and we will come sooner rather than leaving it sitting in your yard.
