Headland keeps a proper town square, and the houses around it have the age to match. Big Joey's brings roll-off containers up US-431 to Headland several times a week.

Two Headlands exist at once. There is the historic core, where older homes ring the square with wood siding, plaster walls, deep porches and additions built across several generations. Then there is the growing edge, where new subdivisions and larger homes have gone up as Henry County picks up families who work in Dothan but want a small-town address and school. The old side gives us heavy demolition debris and estate cleanouts. The new side gives us construction waste and landscaping jobs. In between are the everyday roof replacements, garage purges and storm cleanups that any Wiregrass town produces.
Historic home renovation is a real category here. Pulling plaster and lath, old flooring, brick chimneys and heavy original millwork produces dense loads, and we size for weight rather than appearance. Estate cleanouts are frequent as longtime family homes change hands. On the newer side of town we serve builders with framing and trim-out debris and homeowners with fence, deck and landscaping removal. Downtown, we handle small commercial remodels around the square where placement has to be planned around parking and sidewalks.

Our drivers pick up US-431 North in Dothan and follow it straight into Headland, which puts the whole trip on a good four-lane highway. Deliveries then branch off onto the streets around the square or out to the county roads and newer neighborhoods. Around the square itself, parking and narrow lanes mean we prefer an early morning delivery when the block is quiet and we can position the truck without blocking traffic.

Older Headland homes hide serious weight in the walls. Plaster and lath alone can double what you expect from a room. For a single-room or bathroom job take a 10-yard; for a kitchen and a couple of rooms, a 20-yard. If you are gutting the interior of a full historic house, we would rather bring two smaller cans in sequence than one overloaded one.
That depends on the town, not on us. Anything occupying a public street or sidewalk near the square needs approval from Headland officials first, and they are reasonable about short commercial projects. On private lots and driveways there is normally nothing to file. Newer subdivisions may have their own covenants about how long a container can be visible.
Early works well here, and we like it for downtown addresses. US-431 is a fast route so a Headland stop is easy to make first thing before traffic builds around the square. If your crew starts at seven, tell us and we will aim to have the container in place before they arrive so nobody stands around waiting.
Regularly. Builders on the growing edge of Headland use us through framing, roofing, drywall and trim, and we rotate containers as each phase finishes. We will set the can where it will not block the concrete truck or the lot next door, and we can run a standing schedule so you are not calling for every swap.
