Learn moreSlocomb, Alabama · Geneva County
They call Slocomb the Tomato Capital, and the farming that earned it the name still shapes the town. Roll-off dumpsters go out AL-52 from our yard to Slocomb throughout the year.

Slocomb sits in Geneva County among some of the most productive growing ground in the Wiregrass, and agriculture is not a backdrop here, it is the business of the place. Produce farms, row crops and the packing and storage buildings that support them share the landscape with a compact residential town of modest homes on decent lots. That gives us two distinct seasons of work. Through the growing and harvest months, farm operations are too busy to clean anything; afterward, sheds get emptied, structures get repaired and years of accumulated material finally goes. In town, ordinary home renovation continues year-round.
Agricultural cleanup is the local signature: clearing packing sheds and storage buildings, hauling off pallets, crates, plastic sheeting, stakes, broken equipment and old irrigation pipe once the season ends. We also handle barn and shop cleanouts on family farms, roof replacements on both homes and outbuildings, and storm debris after wind moves through the open fields. In the residential part of town, the work is the usual mix of kitchen and bath remodels, flooring, and clearing a house when it changes hands.

AL-52 heads southwest out of the Dothan area and runs directly to Slocomb, which makes it a simple trip on good two-lane pavement. From there we branch onto the town streets or out to the farm roads. Delivery to a packing shed or field operation usually means a wide gravel entrance, which suits us fine, but we do ask about overhead irrigation lines and gates before the truck arrives.

Most Slocomb growers wait until the season winds down, which means our agricultural calls cluster in the same weeks. If you know you will need containers after harvest, tell us early and we will hold the dates. Trying to book a large container during the busiest cleanup stretch without notice is where people get stuck waiting.
Pallets, crates, cardboard, plastic sheeting, stakes and twine, broken shelving, scrap metal and general building debris are all fine. What has to stay out are chemical containers, pesticide and herbicide jugs, fuel, used oil and tires. Those require separate handling, and mixing them in causes real problems at the disposal site.
Generally yes, since farm lanes here are built for equipment far larger than our truck. We need firm ground, room to raise the box, and no low wires or irrigation crossing overhead. After heavy rain the turn rows go soft, so we may set the container on the gravel near the main entrance instead of driving out into the field.
For a single shop or small shed, a 20-yard is usually enough. For a large packing building or several structures being emptied at once, the 30-yard is the practical choice, and we can swap it as many times as the job takes. If the load is mostly metal and dense material, tell us and we will size down to stay under weight.
